A Word Of Encouragement: Prayer

The other night, I was talking and catching up with one of my grandmas who was in town. She told me some miraculous testimonies and stories from her past that blew my mind. She then said something I believe will forever stick with me: "Don't stop praying until you get your breakthrough." Those words rocked me to my core, and the more I thought about what she had said, the more I realized just how important it was. When seasons of life are rough and you feel trapped in just a low valley, you tend to give up hope and stop praying. I know even for me, I often feel weak, weary, and hopeless when I give into the lies being fed to me from the enemy telling me that "God isn't going to come through" or "there's no hope," but that's not true! It's in our persistence and perseverance in prayer and intercession that we begin to regain hope and trust in what God has said He is going to do! I want to encourage any discouraged hearts, minds, or souls today to keep on praying and believing and not stop until you get your breakthrough.
