Proverbs 7:1-3
"Follow my advice, my son; always treasure my commands. Obey my commands and live! Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes. Tie them on your fingers as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart."
The commands God instructs us to follow are not meant to be seen as a burden. If anything, it is a gift and something we should treasure. We are to guard instructions from the Lord, tie them to our fingers as if they are a reminder, and write them deep within our hearts. God's commandments are not burdens. They are there to help us to live free of the bondage the enemy delights in trapping us in!
Proverbs 7:4
"Love wisdom like a sister; make insight a beloved member of your family."
Family is one of the most important things to us people. We see here in verse 4 that we are to love wisdom as if she is a sister to us. Now, since this comparison is made with a sibling, I think it's safe to say that we and wisdom from the Lord won't always agree and be on the same page, but we can rest assured in knowing that wisdom knows and wants what's best for us.
