New Year, Same God

Dearest Philanthropical Faith Family Member,

I wanted to write you this message to close out 2022. I want to say that I am so beyond grateful to you. The journey I have been on to get here was not something I could have done on my own, and I am blessed to have had you in my corner every step of the way. I had so many nights where I would be feeling discouraged or unconfident about my writings and would want to give up, but I would get a text, comment, or DM from you that would encourage my soul and nudge me to keep on going, and I want to say thank you.

The heart of The Philanthropical Faith was (and is) centered on the hopes of being a space where one's walk with the Lord could be encouraged, revitalized, and nourished. This past year has been nothing but a testimony of the goodness of God. There is a song that says it best: all my life, God, You have been faithful, and You have been so so good to me. Family, we made it, and our good God was with us every single step of the way! There was not one day we were left alone because God, in His greatness, continued to stay faithful and consistent to us.

I know: 2022 is ending, and we are going into the new season of 2023, but I want you to be encouraged knowing that we are going into this new year with the same God on our side. Rest assured, knowing that not only does He care about you, but He loves you so much and has a great plan and purpose for each and every one of you. Not only is our future in His hands, but so was our past. If we could trust God with 2022 and every other year before that one, we can trust Him again with 2023. God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.

Blessings to you,

Genelle Asamoah >3
