Romans 5:8 (NLT)
“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
Jesus did not come to save you and me as perfect and spotless people. He didn't come for the ones who think and believe they have it all figured out. Jesus came for the sinners. He came for the lost one that left the ninety-nine and needed rescue. Our perfect Savior came to an imperfect world to bring hope to imperfect people that would inevitably reject Him, but He still came.
God even sent His Son down to us because He loves us. Romans 5:8 tells us that "even while we were still sinners, God, in His great love for us, sent Christ to come and die for us." It was in our muddy and miry mess that Jesus came. Our sins didn't stop Him from coming to save us. God loved us so much that His love covered any flaw we had and allowed Him to see us as worthy. Be encouraged to know that the perfect love of God truly knows boundaries. Not even our sin can stop it.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I thank You for Your great unconditional love. I thank You for not letting my sin and imperfections hinder my hope of an eternity with You. I am grateful that You have truly shown me a love that overlooks all of my flaws. Thank You Jesus.
Good jod no job nelly!😁
Beautiful 🤍
What a wonderful reminder of the beautiful love of Jesus (his willingness to shed his blood) that washes away our sin.
